FAQs:

Q: Why is Sirica (from Kirby: Right Back at Ya!) a playable character? She's an anime exclusive.
A: Yes, I'm fully aware of that. I know I tend to follow the "game-only characters" rule, but I figured I'd make an exception here. Even though Sirica (Silica in the Japanese version) was made just for Kirby: Right Back at Ya!, she's a very popular character, despite only appearing in a few episodes. Heck, Escargoon (who was also originally made just for the show) made a surprise appearance in Kirby: Mass Attack (for Nintendo DS), and I'm considering giving him a few cameos. Not only that, but the other Kirby characters represented in Nintendo X DC Universe are depicted in their KRBaY! designs, so there's that. Furthermore, my friend Makerboy10 requested me to include Sirica in the fan crossover, since he really loves the character.

Q: I see you included two DLC guest fighters. What made you pick these particular characters?
A: Well, the reason I picked Spike Rosered (a.k.a Axle the Red) is because ever since the character had been appearing in my dreams since last year, he became my #1 Favorite Maverick in the Mega Man X series (step aside, Magma Dragoon!) As for The Beetle, it's because he's my favorite Spider-Man villain, even though Abner Jenkins (his real name) no longer wears the suit, nor is he a villain anymore, for that matter. Plus, his appearance in the old cartoon Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends (where he was voiced by the late Chris Latta) was what introduced me to the character. Sadly, since Chris Latta is deceased, I have to pick someone else for his voice actor in Nintendo X DC Universe.

Q: Will there be alternate costumes?
A: Yes. In fact, there will be lots of them. Plus, there will even be skins that serve as alternate characters. Examples include Mario/Dr. Mario, Bowser Jr./Koopalings, Ness/Lucas, Olimar/Alph, Marth/Lucina, Pit/Dark Pit, and Hal Jordan/John Stewart.

Q: Will there be cosplay outfits?
A: That depends really. I may include them. One example I could think of is for Olimar. His cosplay outfit would be Atom Ant from the Hanna-Barbera cartoon of the same name. There may be more.

Q: Will characters get their own associated stages?
A: Yes. However, it should be noted that some characters may share the same stage.

Q: Will guest fighters have alternate skins and their own associated stage?
A: Yes. In the case of Spider-Man (who is on the default roster), one of his alternate skins will be his Symbiote costume. As for Mega Man X (also on the default roster), one of his alternate skins will be his design from Mega Man X: Command Mission.

Q: Will there be cameos of characters who are from neither the Nintendo or DC sides (both stages and endings)?
A: Yes.

Q: I see that Midna is in her Imp form. Will she be fighting in this form?
A: Yes. In fact, I've seen several fan-made ideas for her moveset if she were to be in a Super Smash Bros. game, and they did a pretty damn good job with them. So Imp Midna it is for Nintendo X DC Universe.

Q: But will her Twili form have some sort of appearance?
A: Maybe.  

Q: Before we close out the questions and answers, is there a character you wish you had included, but didn't?
A: Well, there's quite a bunch of em'. One that comes to mind is Wart (from Super Mario Bros. 2/Doki Doki Panic.) As much as I wanted to include him, it was hard to imagine what his moveset would be like other than the poisonous bubbles he belches from his mouth. Despite that, he will most likely have a cameo appearance in both a stage and ending.
