Bio:
Sigma was once the leader of the Maverick Hunters. The first Reploid created by Dr. Cain, Sigma was considered Dr. Cain's masterpiece and the finest of the Reploids, and was the first leader of the Maverick Hunters; peace-keeping Reploids who defend humans against their renegade counterparts known as Mavericks. Although he was once honorable, Sigma unexpectedly goes Maverick in the beginning of Mega Man X and rebels against humankind. He defects to the Mavericks and assumes the role of their leader. Under Sigma's command, the Mavericks grow into a legion dedicated to the extermination of the human race. Sigma instigates many of the destructive Maverick Wars, with the Maverick Hunters existing to crush Sigma and his minions.

Special Attacks:
*Beam Sword Slash: Sigma dashes across the arena and does a quick swipe with his beam sabre.
*Laser Balls: Sigma fires laser balls from the crystal on his forehead.
*Claw Slash: Sigma slashes his opponent with his claws.
*Eye Laser: Sigma shoots laser beams from his eyes, which go across the floor.

Fatalities:
*Scythed Ya In Half: Sigma pulls out his energy scythe. He then slices the opponent in half, killing them.
*Beamed: Sigma shoots laser beams from his eyes, starting at the opponent's chest. He then goes upward. The opponent's head explodes upon contact.

Battle Intro:
Sigma throws off his cape, gets out his beam sabre, and says "Show me your true potential!"

Victory Pose:
Sigma stomps on the defeated opponent's body, and laughs as he looks up.

Ending:
Sigma and Sektor were an unstoppable alliance. Of course, Sigma turned his back on Sektor, which angered the Tekunin leader. The former Maverick Hunter easily killed Sektor. With humanity now extinct, Earth now belonged to Sigma. May the Mavericks rule the universe!
